Every year, in Italy, over 55,000 women discover they have breast cancer. Fondazione Veronesi exists for them, and since 2003 it has been investing in scientific research of excellence, supporting the work of the best doctors and researchers and financing cutting-edge projects to find increasingly effective and personalised treatments. Thanks to continuous progress in research, the survival rate five years after diagnosis has increased significantly in recent decades and today, if diagnosed early, exceeds 90%. But this is still not enough. The goal is to increase the survival rate to 100% and improve the quality of life of patients. And to do this, your contribution is also needed.
