With the Fondazione Veronesi Gift Card you support research to enable children with cancer to grow up.
Every year, about 1,400 children and 800 adolescents fall ill with cancer in Italy. Fortunately, thanks to progress in research, today the survival rate 5 years after diagnosis exceeds 80%, but it is still not enough: paediatric tumours remain the leading cause of death from disease in children and have a dramatic impact on the whole family. For this reason, since 2003 Fondazione Veronesi has been supporting the work of excellent researchers and financing cutting-edge research projects to find increasingly effective treatments.
